The Studio
A little space made for you.
My private home studio in Silloth has been created to feel less like a photography studio and more like somewhere you can simply settle in and feel at home.
Filled with natural light, soft neutral tones and carefully chosen pieces, it's a calm, comfortable space designed around the families who come through its doors. From growing bumps and tiny newborns to crawling babies, toddlers and everything in between.
There are no bright studio lights, busy backdrops or rows of props. Just a simple, relaxed space that keeps the focus exactly where it should be, on you.

The studio is built around the way I photograph.
Large south-facing windows fill the space with beautiful natural light, allowing sessions to unfold gently without flashes or artificial lighting.
There's room to move, cuddle, play, feed your baby or simply take a moment when you need one. Nothing needs to be rushed and little ones don't need to perform for the camera.
It is intentionally homelike, because I want your photographs to feel like you, not like you've stepped onto a set.
Everything you need
I've tried to think about the little things that make arriving with a baby or young children easier.
You'll find a comfortable seating area, a little toy corner for siblings, changing space and a private bathroom, along with everything we need for your session.
My client wardrobe is also available for maternity, newborn and motherhood sessions, with a carefully selected collection of dresses, tops and neutral pieces that photograph beautifully in the space.
You don't need to arrive with half the house packed. We'll keep things simple.
MADE FOR EVERY STAGE
The studio isn't only for newborns.
It's a space I use throughout motherhood and childhood, for maternity sessions, those first newborn weeks, sitting babies, first birthdays, motherhood and all the little stages in between.
Because not every chapter needs a big occasion to be worth remembering.

FINDING THE STUDIO
Silloth, Cumbria
The studio is tucked away in my garden at home in Silloth, on the Solway Coast.
As it's a private studio, you'll receive the full address and everything you need to know before your session.
You can always park on the spacious drive or along the fence on the pavement just outside.
I always ask families to send me a quick message when they arrive. I'll come up to meet you and show you down to the studio, and I'll walk you back up again at the end of your session.
COME AS YOU ARE.
You don't need children on their best behaviour, a baby who sleeps on command or to know what to do in front of a camera.
That's my job.
Come in, get comfortable and we'll take it from there.
