First Birthday STory
Studio First Birthday Session · SILLOTH, CUMBRIA
Their daughter’s first birthday was the perfect reason for their very first family photos together, and what a gorgeous session we had. Their sweet little girl was full of fun and cheeky smiles, completely herself and so clearly happiest snuggled up with Mum and Dad.
We played, read books, made a glorious mess with cake and captured so many lovely little moments between them along the way. A first birthday celebration, but also a beautiful collection of their family, just as they are right now.

There’s so much to celebrate at one, and not just how much your little one has grown. You’ve all grown and changed together over that first year, which is why family photographs are such an important part of these sessions for me.
There’ll be plenty of time for cuddles and connection, before getting stuck into the cake and letting all that wonderful little personality shine through. We’ll usually finish with a splash in the tub, a familiar little part of everyday life for most little ones, and always so much fun.
And sometimes, after all that excitement, we’re left with the sweetest sleepy cuddles to finish. 🥹

I’ll gently guide you when you need me to, but mostly I want you to relax, love on your family and enjoy this time together while I capture it all.
